This course allows Employee Relation specialists and professionals to reflect on what best practice looks like for their organisation.

Training Methodology 

The programme will be delivered in an interactive style, using group discussions and case studies, questionnaires and practical exercises. There will also be the opportunity to discuss individual issues on a one to one basis with the facilitator if necessary.

 Day 3:  Dealing with ER situations

  • Can’t or won’t? – the difference between conduct and capability
  • Dealing effectively with disciplinary situations
  • Dealing with gross misconduct

  • Deciding whether to suspend
  • Conducting excellent investigations
  • Presenting evidence at hearings
