PROGRAM DETAILS
Introduction
This highly-interactive Incident and Accident Investigation course, specifically aimed at the Oil & Gas industry, is intended to train the participants to work in groups, teams and as individual in order to learn practical techniques to help them carry out investigations and to gather as much relevant evidence during this process. The course uses a variety of case studies such as Piper Alpha, Bhopal, Mumbai High, Deepwater Horizon and varies non-industry examples.
Learning Objectives
- Recognise the importance of effective incident investigation in creating a positive safety culture in the oil and gas environment
- Understand the principles of investigation including what evidence to gather and the techniques to use
- Know the different factors which contribute to accidents

Training Methodology
