Introduction:

The E-procurement, Store, and Supplies Management training program is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the e-procurement process, store management, and supplies management. The training program will equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to manage procurement processes, inventory, and supplies, as well as to maximize the benefits of e-procurement tools and technologies.

Aims:

The aim of this training program is to enable participants to understand the fundamentals of e-procurement, store management, and supplies management, and to develop the necessary skills to implement and manage these processes effectively. By the end of the training program, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to streamline procurement processes, optimize inventory management, and enhance supplier relationships.

By the end of the 5-day training program, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the e-procurement process and the benefits of using e-procurement tools and technologies.
  • Plan and manage procurement processes effectively, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contracting.
  • Implement and administer e-procurement systems, including user account management, system integration, and security.
  • Manage stores effectively, including layout and design, inventory management, and materials handling.
  • Manage supplies effectively, including supplier selection, purchasing, inventory management, and contract management.

Individuals or teams involved in all aspects of procurement and asset management will benefit from this highly interactive and fast-moving program.

This will be a practical and active course involving informal group discussion, captivating PowerPoint presentations, videos, exercises and expert facilitator inputs.

Day 3:    E-Procurement Implementation and Administration

  • E-procurement system implementation

  • E-procurement security and fraud prevention 

Day 4:    Store Management

  • Store management overview
  • Store layout and design
  • Stock control and inventory management
  • Storekeeping and materials handling

Day 5:     Supplies Management

  • Supplies management overview
  • Identifying and selecting suppliers
  • Purchasing and procurement of supplies
