PROGRAM DETAILS

Program Overview:

This five-day training program equips mechanical engineering professionals with the competencies required to assess and improve asset management systems based on the ISO 55001 standard. The course focuses on the principles, frameworks, and methodologies of asset management, emphasizing lifecycle value, risk management, governance, and performance optimization. Participants will explore the Global Forum on Maintenance and Asset Management (GFMAM) framework, including the 39 Subject Areas, and gain practical knowledge on assessing asset maturity and aligning asset strategies with organizational objectives.

Through structured learning sessions, real-world case studies, and group-based activities, this program fosters the ability to critically evaluate existing asset management systems, drive improvements, and support compliance with ISO 55001. Although it aligns with the knowledge expectations for the CAMA certification, this program focuses solely on developing professional capabilities rather than exam preparation. Mechanical engineers and other technical professionals will benefit from insights into integrating asset management into business performance and risk frameworks to drive value across the asset lifecycle.
