Introduction

This course is designed to focus on the art of managing multiple projects in a programme environment. In this course participants will learn proven techniques, processes and tools to pro-actively manage programmes throughout the multiple project lifecycles which will significantly assist in delivering challenging technical projects on time, to budget and within specification.

It will demonstrate how to spot potential ‘show stopping’ events, distinguish those that require managing from those that do not, and put in place effective mitigating and contingency actions to overcome the various pitfalls commonly encountered when managing technical or business change programmes.

The course uses a structure and process which has been tried and tested over many projects and programmes. It equips the delegates with the appropriate knowledge and skills to select appropriate projects, determine benefit realisation, to plan, design and deliver programmes of work, and how to manage risk, quality, progress status and realise the programme benefits.
