PROGRAM DETAILS

Introduction:

The role of Administrator is one that requires significant organizational expertise and competence in managing multiple priorities and an ever-changing workload, whilst effectively networking both inside and outside the organization.  As this level moves naturally into the ‘Management Role’, these skills will require further developing.

The transition into management requires the administrator to begin the challenge of managing other people, projects and priorities and to lead their team both with purpose and poise.

This highly interactive program provides a solid framework to understand the key drivers of leadership and management success and a toolbox of essential team leadership and management skills that delegates can take directly into the world of work, immediately.

Throughout this program, delegates will, through practical application, be given the opportunity to:

  • Explore the main differences between leadership and management skills.
  • Discover how best to manage, lead and develop work teams to higher performance.
  • Identify different ways of managing different people, projects and priorities.
  • Practice the skills of supporting, motivating and coaching others effectively.
  • Develop creative techniques to problem-solve and make decisions more effectively.
